Themeskys API Usage Policy

1. Purpose of the API

Themeskys APIs are provided for development, testing, integration, learning, and sandbox purposes.

The APIs are not intended for mission-critical production systems unless explicitly stated for a specific service.

2. API Key Responsibility

Each user is responsible for maintaining the security of their API keys.

API keys must not be shared publicly, exposed in client-side code, or stored in insecure locations.

Any activity performed using a user's API key will be considered the responsibility of that user.

3. Acceptable Use

Users agree to use Themeskys APIs in a lawful and ethical manner.

Users must not:

  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt API services
  • Perform automated attacks, scraping abuse, or denial-of-service attempts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit API vulnerabilities
  • Use APIs for illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls
4. Rate Limits and Fair Usage

Themeskys enforces rate limits to ensure fair usage across all users.

Rate limits may vary depending on account type, API category, or system load.

We reserve the right to modify, enforce, or block requests that exceed acceptable usage thresholds without prior notice.

5. Data Usage and Storage

APIs may generate, process, or return data for temporary use.

Themeskys does not guarantee permanent storage of API-generated data.

Sandbox and test data may be automatically deleted after 90 days (3 months) or earlier without notice.

Users are responsible for storing any data they wish to retain.

6. Prohibited Usage

Users are strictly prohibited from using Themeskys APIs for:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Spamming or unsolicited communications
  • Security exploitation or scanning
  • Scraping protected or restricted systems
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
7. Service Availability

Themeskys does not guarantee uninterrupted API availability.

APIs may be modified, updated, rate-limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor API usage for security, performance, and abuse prevention.

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Temporary suspension of API access
  • Permanent account termination
  • IP blocking or key revocation
  • Legal action if necessary
9. Third-Party Integrations

Some APIs may rely on third-party services.

Themeskys is not responsible for failures, delays, or changes caused by third-party dependencies.

10. Changes to This Policy

Themeskys may update this API Usage Policy at any time.

Continued use of the APIs constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
